The internationally accredited delegation of the Lebanese Olympic Committee headed from Rafic Hariri International Airport to China, to participate in the activities of the sixth edition of the Asian Beach Games “Sanya”. This course is scheduled to be held between April 22 and 30.
This tournament comes after a break of ten years, and will witness intense competitions in 14 different sports, with the participation of about 1,800 male and female athletes representing 45 countries from the continent of Asia.
This Lebanese delegation is headed by Engineer Roukoz Zgheib, and its membership includes Mounir Shaheen as beach volleyball administrator, coaches Nader Al-Fidawi and Mark Abi Karam, in addition to the male and female players: Jad Abi Karam, Hadi Al-Shabib, Lara Al-Nahi, and Mirna Sheikho.
The delegation is also accompanied by the “Tech Ball” team, consisting of administrator Ramez Al-Ashqar, coach Omar Al-Yassin, and players Ahmed Orabi, Mohamed Hafez, and Qamar Dandal, in addition to Samer Younes, coach of the “diathlon” sport, and player Jawad Younes.
