“لبنان شحّاد سياسي”: السيد ينتقد بشدة فكرة التفاوض المباشر مع إسرائيل.

Lebanon lacks the leverage for direct negotiations with Israel, fearing submission instead of dialogue.

A concise perspective was published on the “X” platform, strongly criticizing the idea of direct negotiations with Israel, emphasizing that Lebanon lacks the necessary elements of strength to conduct a constructive and fruitful dialogue.

The perspective stated: “If we assume we sat down to negotiate, what are our strengths? Is it the unity of the Lebanese people? Or the independence of our state’s decision? Or our military strength and strong economy? Or reliable international guarantees? Unfortunately, we do not possess any of these elements. And the needy person does not negotiate, but rather submits.”

The analysis concluded by emphasizing that Lebanon lacks the basic components for any direct negotiations with the other party, warning that entering into a dialogue without strength could put the country in a position of weakness and surrender instead of effective negotiation.
