Finance Minister Yassine Jaber affirmed his keenness to support the Lebanese University and provide everything that serves the continuation of its national role as a gathering edifice for the Lebanese youth, noting that “we are proud when the Lebanese University is included among the best universities in the world in terms of academic level, despite the economic and security conditions that the country is going through.”

The Minister said before a delegation from the Association of Full-Time Professors at the Lebanese University that he is ready to secure the rightful demands of professors, including improving financial contributions and supporting the Solidarity Fund, indicating that the 2026 budget included items related to this, and he is ready to secure additional appropriations for the Fund before the end of the year in accordance with established procedures.

The Minister also met with the Minister of Agriculture, Nizar Hani, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry, Louis Lahoud, and discussed with him files related to agricultural projects in more than one region. He also met with MP Nasser Jaber.
