Barcelona defeats Bilbao twice and achieves its second victory in a row

Barcelona continued its victories in the Spanish League, defeating Athletic Bilbao with two unanswered goals, in the postponed match of the first round.

Rafinha opened the scoring in the 37th minute, after goalkeeper Unai Simon was alone, taking advantage of Pedri’s pass, following several Barcelona attempts, some of which were blocked by the Bilbao goalkeeper.

The 63rd minute witnessed the first appearance of newcomer Rodri in a Barcelona shirt, replacing Rafinha, while the crossbar prevented Lamine Yamal from scoring.

Fermin Lopez added the second goal in the 82nd minute, after an effort by substitute Karim Adeyemi, who almost scored a third goal had it not been for the brilliance of Unai Simon. Hamza Abdel Karim remained on the bench for the second match in a row, after coach Hansi Flick exhausted his substitutions.
