The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Rima Karami, received a delegation from “Al-Irfan” Tawhidi Schools, in appreciation of the achievement made by the institution’s students in the international I Wise competition, which was held in Dubai, after they won first places and gold medals among participants from about 24 countries, through projects in robotics, artificial intelligence, and innovations in various fields of knowledge and culture, in an achievement of raising Lebanon’s name in international forums.
The delegation included the Director of Development and Educational Curricula and the Director of the Basateen Branch, Sheikh Ramzi Zain Al-Din, the Advisor to the President of the Foundation and the Director of Public Relations, Dr. Rami Ezz Al-Din, and the Director of Activities and Programs, Sheikh Saleh Rafi’, in addition to the winning students and the trainers who supervised their preparation.
The visit was an opportunity to honor the efforts of students and trainers, and to emphasize the importance of supporting educational excellence and creativity and enhancing Lebanon’s presence in international scientific and educational competitions.
Minister Karami affirmed her absolute support for all educational initiatives, considering that “the sustainability of the Lebanese entity depends on the success of the educational sector,” praising the role of “Al-Irfan” monotheistic schools in achieving educational and moral goals.
