The Moroccan national team’s shirt was present in the World Cup stands through the family portal of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, after his daughter Alicia appeared wearing Achraf Hakimi’s shirt before facing Morocco and Canada.
Social media pioneers circulated a video clip documenting the arrival of Alicia, accompanied by her father and a number of officials and official escorts, to the vicinity of the stadium, in a scene that was widely spread among Moroccan fans.
Alicia appeared in the shirt of the Moroccan national team and Paris Saint-Germain star, which many saw as a message of support for the “Atlas Lions” before the match.
Interaction with the video increased after Morocco’s victory over Canada by three clean goals, in a match during which the Moroccan national team confirmed its strong presence in the tournament, amid a great festive atmosphere in the stands and outside.
