The Netherlands national team has qualified for the round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup, after defeating Tunisia by three goals to one, in the third and final round of Group Six competitions.

The Dutch team started the match strongly, and opened the scoring early in the third minute, after Tunisian Elias Skhiri scored an accidental goal against his country, following a failed attempt to clear a Dutch cross.

After only four minutes, Brian Brobbey increased the “Mills” lead with the second goal in the seventh minute.

In the second half, the Tunisian national team reduced the score through Hazem Al-Masturi in the 57th minute, with a header from inside the penalty area.

But the Dutch team came back and widened the gap in the 62nd minute, after Anis Ben Slimane scored a second own goal against Tunisia.

With this victory, the Netherlands national team raised its score to 7 points at the top of Group Six, while the Tunisia national team exited the tournament in the first round.
