Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, MP Ihab Hamadeh, called on the Lebanese authority to change its course and approach, whether with regard to direct negotiations with Israel or the options that he said would give it what it is betting on inside Lebanon, demanding a retraction of the decisions of August 5, 7, and March 2.

During a speech he delivered on the fortieth anniversary of the martyr Zein al-Abidine Haitham Allouh and the Ashura Council organized by Hezbollah in the courtyard of Husseiniya Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the northern Doura neighborhood in Hermel, Hamadeh considered that “the only card of strength that the Lebanese authority possesses is the unity of the Lebanese in light of this resistance,” stressing the necessity of moving towards adopting a security or defense strategy that guarantees the presence of a force defending the land.

He believed that the goals of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “vanished,” starting from eliminating Hezbollah to displacement projects and controlling the south. He considered that Netanyahu today is living in an “existential and strategic impasse,” and that the last power card he is betting on is the Lebanese authority.

Hamadeh stressed that the relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran “is the relationship of the master with the master,” and not like the relationship of “some in Lebanon,” as he put it, who he said “have lost everything and their illusions have collapsed.”

In another speech during a celebration held on the three-day anniversary of the martyrdom of Yahya Hassan Saqr in the Husseiniya of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) in Hermel, Hamadeh considered that “the region has witnessed a major transformation in terms of vision and the balance of power,” adding: “We are on the verge of reaping major results, and there is a complete reversal of the goals raised by the Zionist-American project, and of the results that did not come as they wanted.”

He also pointed out that “the battle that the resistance fighters fought with the enemy was similar to Karbala in terms of goals and great sacrifices, and similar to victory, because the blood of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) preserved the authentic Muhammadan Islam, as did the blood of our children, and we were victorious in every sense of the word.”
