The Iranian “IRNA” agency reported the text of the memorandum between Iran and America, which revealed a broad framework for ending military operations and opening a negotiating path towards a final agreement within 60 days, with provisions related to Lebanon, the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions, and frozen Iranian funds.

According to the text of the memorandum, Iran, America and their allies in the war declare an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, and pledge not to wage any war or carry out any military operations against each other from now on.

The parties also pledge to refrain from threatening or using force against each other, and to guarantee the unity and sovereignty of Lebanese territories.

The agreement stipulates that both parties commit to reaching a final agreement within 60 days of negotiations, with the possibility of extending this deadline.

Regarding the maritime file, the memorandum stipulates that America will begin immediately, after signing, to lift the naval blockade on Iran, provided that the blockade is completely ended within 30 days.

It also stipulates that Iran will take the necessary measures to ensure the safe passage of commercial ships between the Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, and that transit will be free of fees for only 60 days.

The memorandum indicates that Iran will hold talks with the Sultanate of Oman to determine future management and maritime services in the Strait of Hormuz.

As for the sanctions file, America is committed, according to the text of the memorandum, to ending all sanctions imposed on Iran according to a timetable agreed upon within the framework of the final agreement. It is also committed to granting Iran access to its frozen funds within the framework of implementing the memorandum of understanding.

Regarding the nuclear file, Iran and America agree to resolve the issue of stocks of enriched materials through a mechanism agreed upon by both parties.

The memorandum concludes by emphasizing that the final agreement will be confirmed by a binding resolution issued by the United Nations Security Council.
