The management of the Italian club Milan took a decisive position regarding the contract with German Matthias Jaisse, the technical director of Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia, who is considered one of the most prominent candidates to assume the technical leadership of the team in the coming period.

Jaisle, 38 years old, has become one of the names strongly on the Milan management table, as the Italian club searches for a new coach after the recent departure of Italian Massimiliano Allegri.

The German coach has a contract with Al-Raqi that extends until the summer of 2027, and includes a penalty clause worth 6 million euros, while he receives an annual salary of up to 11 million euros.

According to what Italian journalist Nicola Schirra said, Milan still places Jaesle among its most prominent options to lead the team, after contacts took place between the two parties this week, the results of which were described as positive.

Shera explained that the Italian club’s desire to sign a contract with the German coach collides with the obstacle of the release clause, as the Milan management does not intend to pay his value, while Al-Ahly insists on obtaining the full amount stipulated in the contract.

On the other hand, Jaisle showed great flexibility to facilitate his transfer to the Rossoneri, as previous Italian reports indicated his willingness to give up part of his current high salary in order to undergo training in the Italian League.

However, reaching a final agreement on the new salary still requires further negotiations between the two parties.

In the same context, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Portuguese Ruben Amorim is ready to accept all the conditions that were agreed upon with Milan to assume the position of new coach, stressing that the Portuguese coach is awaiting the final decision from the club’s management.

Yaisla is currently playing his third season with Al-Ahly, after he took over as coach of the team in July 2023 from Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg, who supervised his training for two years.

The German coach has succeeded in imposing himself strongly since his arrival in Jeddah, after he led Al-Ahly to achieve distinguished results at the local and continental levels, which made him the focus of attention of several European clubs during the recent period.

Yasla continued to write the chapters of his success with Al-Ahly after he finally led the team to win the AFC Champions League title for the second season in a row, strengthening his position as one of the most prominent young coaches on the Asian continent.
