Real Madrid has reached an agreement with its German defender, Antonio Rudiger, to renew his contract, ensuring that the player will continue at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium until 2027, according to press reports.

The Spanish club is working on arranging the contracts of a number of its players, in conjunction with preparing for changes in the team’s ranks after a season that ended without titles, following the exit from the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the loss of the Spanish League title to Barcelona.

According to Sky Germany, Rudiger has already signed his new contract with Real Madrid, and the official announcement will be made after the club’s presidential elections.

Real Madrid’s presidential elections are scheduled to be held on June 7, inside the club’s complex in the Spanish capital.

Rudiger joined Real Madrid in June 2022, and his current contract expires at the end of the current season, before it was agreed to extend it for next season and beyond.
