The Greek coach of the Saudi national team, Giorgis Donis, announced the preliminary list of the “Green” players participating in the 2026 World Cup.
The list witnessed the exclusion of prominent names, led by Salman Al-Faraj, Ali Al-Bulaihi, and Hamad Al-Yami, in exchange for the summoning of new elements, most notably goalkeeper Abdul Quddus Attiya, Alaa Al Haji, and Muhammad Khabrani, among a list that included 30 players, including Muhammad Al-Owais, Saud Abdul Hamid, Salem Al-Dosari, and Firas Al-Braikan.
Denis begins his career with the national team with a camp in the United States that includes three friendly matches. It begins against Ecuador on May 30 in New Jersey, then Puerto Rico on June 5 in Austin, and concludes with a match against Senegal on June 9 in San Antonio.
