Egyptian star Mohamed Salah sparked widespread interaction after he published a statement on his account on the “X” platform, in which he addressed the decline in Liverpool’s level and the recent defeat against Aston Villa.

Many believed that the statement included messages addressed to Dutch coach Arne Slot, before Salah’s final appearance in front of the Anfield fans in the Brentford match, as he prepares to officially leave the team next summer after 9 seasons with the club.

It is noteworthy that a number of Liverpool players interacted with Salah’s statement, whether from his old teammates or new players, including Hugo Ekitiki, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremy Frimpong.

This interaction raised questions among Liverpool fans about whether the players were inclined to support Salah in his position, in light of the growing controversy over the team’s relationship with the Dutch coach.

Salah had announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the season, putting an end to a career that spanned 9 seasons, although his contract continues until the summer of 2027, during which he achieved a number of team and individual titles.
