The Danish club Norsjæland dealt a blow to the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, after snatching from it the “awaited deal” that the Red Team was planning at the beginning of next season.

Al-Ahly wanted a “replacement and renewal” process after the major failure of the first football team this season to win any championship, except for the Egyptian Super Cup, and to sign a “quality deal” during the next season.

Al-Ahly bid farewell to the African Champions League, exited the Egypt Cup and League Cup in the first round, and came close to losing the league title to its rival, Zamalek.

Norshyland deals a painful blow to Al-Ahly
Danish club Norsjæland has activated the option to purchase Egyptian player Ibrahim Adel, which was part of the loan agreement with Emirati club Al Jazira.

Al-Ahly wanted to sign Ibrahim Adel during the next summer transfer season, but the Norshyland club dealt him a painful blow and decided to activate the purchase clause.

Norsjæland Club announced that Ibrahim Adel has signed a contract extending until the summer of 2029.

Following the signing, Ibrahim Adel said to his club’s official website: “I am very happy to have signed a permanent contract with Norsjæland Club. I enjoyed my time here very much.”

He added: “I felt at home from day one. The players and technical staff welcomed me warmly, and everyone helped me adapt and integrate into the team. I am very grateful for that.”

He continued: “I’m looking forward to the future here at Norsjæland FC. I like our style of play very much because it suits me perfectly. Now, it’s about qualifying for Europe next season.”

He concluded: “I hope that I can also help the team win a title in the coming seasons.”
