Lamine Gamal sparks controversy after El Clasico with messages against Real Madrid

The young Spanish star, Lamine Gamal, stole the spotlight during Barcelona’s celebrations for winning the Spanish League title, after sparking widespread controversy with a series of actions and messages.

Barcelona officially won the La Liga title after defeating Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clásico, on a night that witnessed loud celebrations within the Catalan club.

Jamal posted on his Instagram account a video clip documenting his celebration of Ferran Torres’ goal, accompanied by the phrase: “Talk is cheap,” a reference that followers interpreted as a direct response to previous statements by Real Madrid striker Jude Bellingham.

The beginning of the tension between the players goes back to the first Clásico of the season at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, when Bellingham, after Real Madrid’s victory at that time, published a message in which he said: “Talk is cheap… always Hala Madrid,” which was considered a response to Gamal’s previous statements in which he criticized the refereeing related to Real Madrid’s matches.
The controversy did not stop there, as Jamal appeared during the Barcelona celebration tour raising the Palestinian flag over the open-air bus that roamed the streets of Catalonia, in a scene that spread widely across social media platforms.
