Ousmane Dembélé, the star of the Paris Saint-Germain team, won the Best Player award in the French Football League for the second time in a row during the 34th edition of the French Professional Players Association Awards ceremony, which was held in one of the prestigious theaters in the French capital, on Monday evening.
The Parisian team star snatched the award after participating as a starter in only 9 matches in the French League this season, noting that he scored 10 goals and assisted 6 goals for his teammates in 20 league matches this season.
Dembélé, who won the Ballon d’Or for the best player in the world last year in 2025, also won another award during the same ceremony by winning the best goal in the French League this season.
The award for the best professional player outside his country’s borders went to Frenchman Michael Oliset, Bayern Munich’s German winger.
Oliseh received the award in recognition of his wonderful season with Bayern Munich, champions of the German League this season, who reached the semi-finals of the Champions League and are preparing to face Stuttgart in the German Cup final.
