Galatasaray was crowned champion of the Turkish Premier League for the 2025-2026 season, after clinching the title one round before the end, adding to its coffers the 26th championship in its history, as a new record in the competition.

The Istanbul team’s coronation came after its victory at home against Antalyaspor with a score of 4-2, raising its score to 77 points and widening the gap with its traditional rival, Fenerbahce, to 4 points, which made it officially guaranteed the coronation before the final round.

With this victory, Galatasaray continued to impose its local dominance, having succeeded in retaining the title for the fourth consecutive season, in a new achievement that strengthens its position as the most decorated club in the history of Turkish football.

After the tournament was won, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated the Galatasaray club through a post on social media, directing congratulations to the players, the technical staff, the administration and the fans, and praising the team’s new coronation.
