The National Litani River Authority reports the safety of a team of its employees who were at the Abdel-Al plant for producing electricity from water, after their car suffered secondary damage as a result of the strike that occurred in the Mashghra area in the western Bekaa.
The National Litani River Authority confirms that its technical and administrative teams continue their work in the Abdel-Al plant and the entire hydroelectric production system, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of electricity supply and meeting the needs of the villages and towns that benefit from these plants, in addition to helping to support the stability of the public electrical network.
The Authority clarifies that the continuation of this important facility’s work, despite the difficult security conditions, is considered part of its national responsibility to maintain the continued provision of necessary services, and demands that vital infrastructure and its workers be neutralized from any dangers that threaten their security and the safety of public facilities.
