Moscow and Hanoi signed a historic agreement to establish the first nuclear power plant in Vietnam, demonstrating the consolidation of strategic relations between the two countries in the fields of energy and advanced technology.
According to this agreement, Russia will provide the necessary technical support and expertise through the Rosatom State Corporation, with the aim of building the station and qualifying Vietnamese competencies specialized in the management of peaceful nuclear facilities.
Through these projects, Vietnam seeks to meet its growing demand for electricity and support its industrial development plans, while adhering to global standards of nuclear safety and security. This cooperation strengthens the Russian technological presence in the Southeast Asian region and opens new paths for a long-term economic partnership between Russia and Vietnam.
