Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei confirmed through his official account on the “X” platform that the attacks that occurred in Turkey and the Sultanate of Oman “were not carried out at all by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran or other forces of the resistance front.”
This denial came after a sharp speech he gave earlier on the occasion of Nowruz, in which he spoke about the details of the “conspiracies” against the Iranian regime last year. He pointed out that these events began with the “June War,” which Israel carried out with American support, and included the assassination of leading figures and scholars. He added that this was followed by a “coup attempt” last January, which took advantage of the difficult economic conditions to create a state of chaos, leading to the “current war” targeting the regime’s leadership and senior officers.
Khamenei pointed out that Iran’s enemies believed that liquidating symbols would lead to “dividing Iran” and spreading fear among the people, but they collided with a “solid defensive line,” which he said extended from mosques to public squares, which plunged the leaders of “arrogance” into a state of “confusion and cognitive weakness” that was reflected in their recent conflicting statements.
This denial comes in light of the escalation of tension in the region and the exchange of accusations regarding the attacks that targeted multiple regions.
