Mojtaba Khamenei: A strong message to America and Israel

Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei addressed a new letter to the United States and Israel, stressing that their perception that the assassination of the president and a number of influential military leaders will sow terror and frustration in the hearts of Iranians is a “misconception.”

Khamenei stated in his message that “the enemy thought that if the head of the regime and a number of influential military figures were martyred, it would spread fear and despair in your souls, our dear people, and push you to withdraw from the field, thus achieving his dream of controlling Iran and then dividing it.”

In a message on the occasion of Nowruz, he added that the Iranians “combined fasting and jihad in this blessed month,” and that they “built a defensive line as broad as the breadth of the country, and impenetrable fortresses like its squares, neighborhoods, and mosques,” considering that they had dealt a “deadly blow” to the enemy.

He hinted that this matter prompted Iran’s enemies to “say contradictory words and a lot of nonsense that indicates a lack of awareness and weak understanding,” as he described it.
