Escalation of attacks: The Israeli army announces the results of its operations in Iran

Ella Wawiyeh, spokeswoman for the Israeli army, reported in a post on her account on the “X” platform that the Israeli army launched attacks on more than 200 targets in western and central Iran during the past 24 hours.

It confirmed that the Israeli army continues to target the Iranian regime’s ballistic missile system and defense systems in these areas.

It also stated that the attacks targeted command headquarters containing members of the Iranian forces, in addition to air defense systems and sites designated for the production and storage of combat equipment.

This development comes in the context of the ongoing military operations launched by the Israeli army inside Iranian territory in recent days. Avichay Adraee, spokesman for the Israeli army, had previously published a video clip that he said showed the targeting of an Iranian cell that was preparing to launch drones in western Iran.

Adraee explained that the operation took place after the cell was spotted inside a drone launching site, based on intelligence information that he described as “accurate and in real time,” as an Israeli Air Force plane carried out a strike on the site, before the footage showed the cell members trying to escape from one of the buildings, only to be targeted again moments later.

He pointed out that these operations come within the framework of what he described as the freedom of action of the Israeli Air Force in western and central Iran, after targeting hundreds of air defense systems in those areas, stressing that the Israeli army continues to work to destroy the infrastructure linked to the ballistic missile systems and drones.

This is happening in light of the ongoing military escalation between Iran and Israel in recent days, as the two sides exchanged missile and air strikes targeting military sites and facilities related to the defensive and offensive capabilities of both parties.
