In the Milan Academy... 3 Arab talents are on the way

The Italian club Milan includes among its youth ranks an elite group of rising Arab talents, as part of the club’s long-term plan to build a new generation capable of representing the first team in the future. This step comes as part of a broader strategy aimed at restoring the glory of the Lombard club at the local and continental levels.

Among the most prominent of these Arabic names are:

Algerian Yannis Messoudi, the 17-year-old Al Mehwar defender, joined the ranks of Milan from the French club Racing in the summer of 2023. He has played 12 matches so far with the youth team, during which he scored one goal, and is considered among the most prominent talents nominated to join the first team in the coming years.

“Moroccan striker Akram Jadid,” 14 years old, is a talent who joined the Milan academy in 2024 from amateur club Volontas Montechiari. “Jadeed” played two official matches with the youth team this season, and previously represented the Moroccan U-16 national team.

“Moroccan manufacturer Yahya Idrissi Regragui,” who is 18 years old, is the most recent of these faces to join, as he moved to Milan from the English club Chelsea during the recent winter transfer period. “Regragui” began his career at West Ham United’s academy before moving to Chelsea in 2021, and has made one appearance for Milan’s youth team since joining.
