The General Directorate of Civil Defense, represented by the Department of Information and Public Relations, issued an announcement stating that there was an emergency technical defect that led to the emergency number “125” of the Central Operations Room stopping working, today, Thursday, February 5, 2026.
The Directorate apologized to the honorable citizens for this holiday outside its control, and urged them to call the following numbers in case they need any urgent assistance:
70192912 – 70192913 – 70192914 – 70192915 – 70192973.
In addition, the Directorate drew attention to the possibility of reporting any emergency and sending photos and geographical location via the “WhatsApp” application to the number 70192693.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed that it will inform the public as soon as service is restored on the number “125,” and renewed its continued commitment to providing the best means of communication to serve citizens and ensure an immediate response to their requests, expressing its appreciation for their understanding.
