The municipality of Kafr Tibnit issued a statement addressed to the residents of the town, in which it expressed its strong denunciation of the recent Israeli raid that targeted Kafr Tbnit, which left major destruction in many buildings and residential units.
The municipality explained that the raid caused damage to about 35 housing units, burdening the affected families with humanitarian and living burdens in light of the continued attacks on southern villages and the accompanying losses of property and livelihoods.
In this context, the municipality launched a humanitarian appeal to the able-bodied residents of the town, especially those who own apartments or shops suitable for housing, to urge them to host the affected families temporarily, until appropriate solutions are found.
The municipality of Kafr Tibnit confirmed that this initiative embodies the spirit of solidarity and solidarity that has always distinguished the people of the town in times of adversity, calling for solidarity to support those affected during this difficult period.
She indicated that those wishing to provide assistance or inquiries can contact the number “70436851,” expressing her thanks to everyone who takes the initiative to stand by the affected families.
This appeal comes after Israeli raids targeted the town of Kafr Tibnit, hours after warnings issued by the Israeli army to residents, asking them to evacuate a number of buildings under the pretext of their proximity to what it described as “military structures.”
A state of tension and anxiety prevailed in the town after these warnings, before the raids were carried out, which led to serious damage to a large number of homes and residential units, especially in crowded residential neighborhoods, which increased the humanitarian and living burdens on the affected families.
The targeting of Kafr Tibnit comes in the context of repeated Israeli attacks on southern villages, which are often preceded by similar warnings, amid growing fears of widespread damage to residential areas and an increase in the number of displaced families.
