Ebrahim Rezaei: Iran warns of a response "devastating" For any assault

Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Shura Council, said on Sunday, warning against any attack targeting Iran, stressing that “Iran will eliminate 50% of the enemy’s capabilities in the first phase of any possible war.”

In the context of talking about the results of the committee meeting, which was held today in the presence of a prominent leader in the Air-Space Force of the Revolutionary Guard, Rezaei stated that the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in the event of any attack stipulate “a response at the highest level, decisively and destructively.”

Rezaei also warned the United States against “committing any foolishness” by launching an attack on the Islamic Republic, warning that this would lead to a regional confrontation, and pointed out that Washington’s military and economic interests in the region fall within the range of Iran’s operational capabilities.

He added that Iran has become stronger offensively than it was during the 12-day war, and that its capabilities exceed what has been revealed so far. He stressed that Tehran “possesses high intelligence control over the enemy and follows all its movements.”

Rezaei had warned last Friday that “the targets will not be limited to American bases, as all American interests fall within our scope, and the Zionist entity will also be within our target bank.”

In this regard, Iranian officials stress their full readiness to confront any aggression and defend the country, stressing that the response will be harsh.
