NVIDIA reduces its investments in "OpenAI" Because of internal concerns

The Wall Street Journal reported, based on informed sources, that Nvidia’s plan to invest an amount that could reach $100 billion in OpenAI, the company that developed GBT Chat, has faced obstacles due to reservations expressed by some officials within the company about this deal.

The goal of this deal was to enable OpenAI to obtain the necessary funds to purchase advanced chips that are essential to maintaining its superiority in the intensely competitive artificial intelligence market. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang explained that the original agreement was not binding and had not been finalized conclusively, expressing his fear of potential competition from companies such as Google and Anthropic.

Meanwhile, OpenAI continues to seek significant funding from other investment parties, as Amazon is in negotiations to invest an amount that may reach $50 billion, as part of the company’s efforts to raise a total funding of $100 billion, which could raise its market value to about $830 billion.
