Amid great political and popular anticipation, attention is turning to the anniversary of February 14 this year. It seems that the Future Movement is preparing to commemorate this anniversary differently than in previous years, with a focus on returning to the streets and organizing on the ground. This trend reflects a clear readiness for mass mobilization, and raises questions that go beyond merely commemorating the anniversary to what will happen next.
In this context, the Future Movement pays great attention to preparations for the commemoration of February 14. These preparations will begin with field tours by the Secretary-General of the Future Movement, Ahmed Hariri, in the Bekaa at the end of this week, including the western, central, and eastern Bekaa, where he will meet with party leaders, popular delegations, and regional events.
This tour is scheduled to be completed in the middle of next week in Mount Lebanon and Beirut, with an expanded meeting being held in Keserwan.
At the end of next week, Ahmed Hariri will head to the north, where his tours will include Akkar, Tripoli, Minieh and Dinniyeh, as part of direct organizational preparation that coincides with the anniversary and reflects the readiness of the popular bases.
In this context, Prime Minister Saad Hariri was confirmed to be in Beirut to participate in the February 14 anniversary, where he will deliver a speech that insiders described as answering various questions posed by supporters, most notably the issue of participation in the parliamentary elections.
Follow-up sources explain that the program of field movements and regional meetings indicates that Al-Mustaqbal is seeking to gradually regain its popularity, and that the anniversary of February 14 may become a turning point not only in reaffirming the presence of the movement, but also in defining the features of the next political phase.
