A new earthquake hits the Western Bekaa region amid continuing seismic activity.

The National Center for Geophysics announced that an earthquake had been detected at 2:11 p.m., with a magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale, and its location was identified in the Western Bekaa region.

Earlier today, the same center reported that an earthquake was recorded at 5:41 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and its magnitude was also 2.5 on the Richter scale.

In addition, the Center detected an earthquake yesterday, Monday, January 26, 2026, at 17:39 p.m., measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale. Its location was determined in the “Sarghaya” area within Syrian territory. The center indicated that a number of citizens felt the tremor, but no damage was recorded.

Also, the Center reported recording a minor earthquake at 00:28 AM on Monday, January 26, 2026, measuring 2.6 on the Richter scale, and its epicenter was in the town of Sohmor.
