Dr. Ahmed Raya, Hezbollah’s public relations official in the Bekaa region, stated that “Israel’s escalation of its attacks, and the American administration’s attempt to cancel the Mechanisms Committee and push for direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel under American supervision, aim to subjugate Lebanon and surrender it to Israeli conditions leading to normalization, in addition to striking national unity and stripping Lebanon of the elements of its strength, first and foremost the resistance and its weapons.”
Raya’s statements came during a political meeting organized by the Public Relations Department in the town of Beit Shama, where he explained that “the resistance is steadfast, steadfast, and ready, and it is strong because its environment surrounds its leadership and its plan aimed at achieving a life of pride and dignity for its people, and preserving the blood of the martyrs, and the victories it has achieved over 40 years.”
Raya concluded his speech by saying, “What we are witnessing of the mobilization of American warships, destroyers, and air forces in the Middle East region, under the pretext of preparing to strike Iran, the real and actual goal of it is to subjugate the entire region, obligate Israel to manage the countries of the Middle East, plunder their wealth, fragment the region, and plunge it into civil wars.”
