The market value of the Italian company “iVision Tech” increased by approximately “$4.1 million” after French President “Emmanuel Macron” appeared wearing sunglasses from the brand “Henry Jullien” during his participation in the “World Economic Forum” in Davos.
Media reports indicated that the glasses worn by Macron are the “Pacific S 01 Double Gold” model, priced at around “659 euros”. The company’s president, “Stefano Fulchir,” stated that Macron has owned these glasses since 2024, having received them as a diplomatic gift during the “G20 Summit,” before acquiring a second pair later.
The French President attributed the reason for wearing the glasses to concealing “a minor subconjunctival hemorrhage” in his right eye.
Macron’s photos spread widely on social media with satirical edits mimicking famous movie posters, while US President “Donald Trump” sarcastically inquired about the reason for wearing the glasses.
The “Guardian” newspaper reported that the sudden interest in the glasses caused the “Henry Jullien website to crash” for most of the day, reflecting the rapid commercial impact of Macron’s look.
Henry Jullien glasses have been handmade since “1921” in a small factory north of Geneva with only about “10 employees”, with a limited annual production of about “a thousand pieces” of the same model. The company uses “gold inlay” technology instead of traditional paint.
