The committee stated that the strike decision was taken after conducting a poll of the General Assembly’s opinions and the majority of workers in the public administration. It indicated that it will keep its meetings continuous to determine future steps, based on emerging developments and after consultation with colleagues.
The “Follow-up Committee” also called on all workers in the public administration to fully comply with its decision, and affirmed that it is “the sole legitimate representative of the Public Administration Employees League.”
