هاوٍ ووالده يستعيدان صدارة أسرع طائرة "FPV" بالعالم

It is rare for amateurs to approach the performance levels achieved by professionals in drone races. But Luke Bell, amateur drone developer and videographer, and his father managed to regain the world record for the fastest first-person view “FPV” drone, after reaching a stunning speed of 408 miles per hour.

Since last year, “The Bells” team has been in fierce competition to break records. According to “Tech Spot,” the team achieved a speed of nearly 300 miles per hour in June 2025, before YouTube content creator “Samgo” was able to raise the figure to 346 miles per hour using his “Fast Boy 2” drone. “The Bells” did not give up, but rather made a new design that improves cooling, aerodynamics, and power, which led to raising the record to 363 miles per hour. However, the title later passed to videographers Ben Beags and Aiden Kelly after a flight that reached 389 miles per hour.

This time, “The Bells” team returned with a newer design that includes new engines and a more streamlined structure with modified rotors, which enabled them to achieve the new record of 408 miles per hour.

To better illustrate this achievement, the team built a second version of the drone and equipped it with a 360-degree camera to record first-person footage, providing an exciting experience accompanied by clear buzzing sounds as the drone passes by at a speed that is difficult for observers to track with the naked eye.
