Ryan Bounida, the midfielder for Ajax Amsterdam, has become the focus of attention for the Spanish football giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona, who are considering signing him during the upcoming summer transfer window, due to the remarkable progress the player has made recently.
According to Spanish media sources, Bounida, who was born in the Belgian city of Vilvoorde in 2006, has quickly risen in the estimations of scouts from major clubs in the European continent, after impressing with his unique talent and high technical capabilities.
The newspaper “AS” reported on Thursday that Real Madrid and Barcelona have intensified their monitoring of the player over the past few months, with detailed technical studies being prepared on his level and abilities.
It is worth mentioning that Bounida is 19 years old, of Moroccan origin, and also represents the Belgian national team (under 21 years).
The veteran Portuguese coach, José Mourinho, praised the player in a previous period, following a match between Ajax and Benfica in the Champions League, where he stated: “What impresses me about him is his courage in seeking out individual duels, one-on-one, and participating in them without hesitation.”
