عودة تدريجية للرحلات الجوية في طهران بعد فترة وجيزة من التعليق

Following the end of the closure imposed by Iranian authorities on its airspace, some aircraft have begun heading towards the capital, Tehran. This was confirmed by “Flightradar24,” a site specializing in monitoring air traffic.

The site indicated, in a tweet on its “X” platform account, a partial resumption of air traffic after the lifting of the ban, explaining that only five aircraft were detected in Iranian airspace, according to a map published by the site showing a limited return to air traffic.

“Flightradar24” had announced, on Wednesday evening, that Iran had closed its airspace for more than two hours due to protests, with the exception of international flights carrying special permits. Later, Reuters reported from sources that Iranian authorities extended the airspace closure to include all flights until 6:30 a.m., with the exception of international flights authorized to and from Iran.

This tightening of air traffic coincides with media reports of U.S. President Donald Trump considering a military intervention in response to what he described as “the Iranian authorities’ suppression of protesters,” raising concerns about a possible military escalation between Tehran and Washington.
