قبلان: غياب العدالة في السلطة يؤدي إلى الفتن والفساد

Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan, the Distinguished Jaafari Mufti, affirmed during a speech he delivered on the occasion of the third day memorial of the father of the Jaafari Mufti of Sidon and Zahrani, Sheikh Muhammad Assiran, the late Hajj Hassan Assiran, the importance of consolidating national unity and the necessity of building a just state that embraces all its children without discrimination. He stressed that justice, citizenship, and equality constitute a solid foundation for the stability of the nation and the preservation of its civil peace.

Qabalan drew attention to the importance of preserving trust, stressing that “any work devoid of piety is fruitless, and that true authority is the one capable of achieving justice, not practicing oppression and injustice,” and warned that “authority that does not guarantee justice perpetuates injustice and corruption and fuels strife and hatred.”

He called for the establishment of a homeland based on solidarity, cooperation, and political and moral partnership, and praised the role of Lebanese figures who maintained national unity, noting that Lebanon faces serious challenges internally and externally in light of non-national mentalities.

He also denounced “international terrorism and American hegemony,” and at the same time affirmed the necessity of maintaining security and stability in all Lebanese regions and protecting Lebanon from strife.

In the same context, Mufti Assiran continued to receive condolences in the Sidon Hussainiya, where delegations and political, religious, security, and municipal figures attended, headed by the son of the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, Dr. Basil Berri, deputies Abd al-Rahman al-Bizri and Ali Assiran, former deputy Ibrahim Azar, the Palestinian ambassador to Bahrain Khaled Aref, Ambassador Abdul Mawla Al-Solh, and the head of the political bureau of the Amal Movement, Haj Jamil Hayek, at the head of a delegation from the movement, and a delegation from Hezbollah.

Also participating were the head of the Information Branch in the South, Colonel Abd al-Nabi Zbib, the commander of the Administrations Platoon in the Sidon Gendarmerie, Major Ali Alayq, a number of leaders of the security and military services, the secretary of the Fatah movement in the Lebanon region, Dr. Riad Abu al-Einein, the secretary of the Sidon division, Mustafa al-Lahham, and the official of the Palestinian Liberation Front in Lebanon, Muhammad Yassin, in addition to a number of leaders of Palestinian and Lebanese factions, muftis, judges, and men of religion, the vice president of Sidon Municipality, Dr. Ahmed Akra, members of the municipal council, mayors, and mukhtars, in addition to health, educational, economic, and social figures and activists.
