The media office of MP Simon Abi Ramia reported that the latter met with the Minister of Public Health, Rakan Nasser El-Din, to discuss the health difficulties facing citizens, most notably the problem of hospital admission due to weak health insurance.
The statement mentioned that “Abi Ramia” focused specifically on the situation of hospitals in the Keserwan and Jbeil regions, emphasizing the importance of supporting and developing the Bouar Governmental Hospital to enhance its role in serving the region. He also addressed the issue of the Qartaba Governmental Hospital, expressing his gratitude to the Ministry of Health for its financial contribution to the completion of the building, as well as for providing medical equipment and supplies funded by the World Bank and the Islamic Bank.
In addition, the meeting touched on the issue of medicines, where Minister “Nasser El-Din” explained to MP “Abi Ramia” the method used in the distribution of medicines and how to obtain them, especially with regard to medicines for chronic diseases.
