عمار: تصريحات وزير الخارجية انحدار سياسي ووطني وأخلاقي

MP Ali Ammar, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, issued a statement addressing the remarks of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Rajji. Ammar considered that “the statement made by the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Youssef Rajji, which went so far as to grant the Israeli enemy the right to attack Lebanon and justify all its crimes against the Lebanese, constitutes a resounding political, national, and moral downfall.”

Ammar believes that the minister, “instead of performing his natural duty of condemning the Israeli attacks and activating his diplomatic work by raising his voice in international forums in defense of Lebanese sovereignty and the Lebanese people, and rejecting Zionist arrogance and aggression, we find him justifying Zionist criminality and killing that his fellow citizens are subjected to.”

He added, “This irresponsible talk, and this decline in the discourse issued by an official, harms the Lebanese state and undermines what remains of its image, position, and dignity before its people, when its foreign minister turns into a false witness to the enemy’s crimes and an encourager of them.” He considered that “this dangerous statement requires a clear and decisive stance from the President and the Prime Minister, and to put an end to this type of statement that fuels internal divisions and serves only the enemy and its interests.”

In conclusion of his statement, Ammar called on Minister Rajji to “re-read the clauses of the ceasefire agreement well and carefully, as he seems unfamiliar with its details, and not to adopt the enemy’s narratives instead of adhering to the official Lebanese position.”
