كوريا الجنوبية تحقق أعلى مستوى في صادراتها من الأغذية والمنتجات الزراعية

The Ministry of Agriculture in South Korea announced that the country’s exports of food and agricultural products achieved a new record in 2025, reaching $13.62 billion.

In detail, the “Korean Food Plus” sector grew by 5.1% compared to the previous year, achieving its highest level ever. This sector includes a wide range of products, from fresh and processed goods to agricultural equipment and veterinary drugs.

The value of exports of agricultural and food products also increased by 4.3% to reach $10.41 billion, exceeding the 100 billion Korean won mark for the first time, and recording a continuous annual increase for the tenth year in a row, according to the Korean news agency “Yonhap.”

The ministry attributed this outstanding performance to the high demand for Korean instant noodles “Ramyeon,” in addition to 11 other products, including sauces, “Kimchi,” “Ice Cream,” and “Strawberries.”

In terms of markets, the United States topped the list of countries importing Korean agricultural products, with exports to it jumping by 13.2% to reach $1.8 billion in 2025. Exports to China also grew by 5.1% to reach $1.58 billion, while exports to Europe recorded an increase of 13.6% to reach $773.7 million. (Al Arabiya)
