سلام أمام اللجنة الخماسية: الإصلاحات مستمرة وتجميع السلاح يمضي قدماً

At the Prime Minister’s headquarters, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received the ambassadors of the Quint Committee, composed of: “Walid Bukhari,” Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, “Hervé Magro,” Ambassador of France, “Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani,” Ambassador of Qatar, “Alaa Moussa,” Ambassador of Egypt, and “Michele Sison,” Ambassador of the United States of America.

Following the meeting, President Salam stated that he thanked the ambassadors of the Quint Committee for their continued visits and their follow-up on the government’s efforts to achieve reforms, expressing his appreciation for their commendation of the “Financial Regularity and Deposit Recovery” project submitted by the government to the Parliament.

He also expressed his gratitude for their support for the Lebanese Army’s completion of the first phase of the “Plan to Confine Weapons in Southern Litani,” affirming his firm commitment to implementing the second phase and subsequent phases of this plan.
