غوغل تعزز "جيميل" بتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي

Google has launched a set of new updates for the “Gmail” service, including three features based on artificial intelligence, which will be available for free to all users, after being limited to subscribers of the paid “Google AI Pro” and “Ultra”.

This step aims to facilitate dealing with email and transform “Gmail” from just a place to receive messages to a smart assistant capable of writing messages, summarizing conversations, and providing context-appropriate responses, given the increasing competition between email services that use artificial intelligence.

The first feature is “Help Me Write,” which allows the user to write a simple request such as: “Write a polite follow-up message about a late invoice,” and “Gmail” will create a draft message ready for modification or immediate sending.

As for the “Suggested Replies” feature, it is based on the context of the conversation and the user’s way of speaking to suggest responses close to his personal style, instead of the usual general responses.

The third feature, “AI Summaries,” provides a summary of the most important points in long email threads, allowing you to quickly understand the conversation without having to read all the messages.

Google confirmed that it will retain some advanced tools, such as specialized proofreading and in-depth summaries, within paid subscriptions, while these updates pave the way for the launch of the “AI Inbox” feature that automatically arranges messages based on importance and priority.
