"Systematic Targeting Continues"... Qabalan: Aggression Will Not Break the People's Resolve

MP Qabalan Qabalan, a member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, conducted a field tour in the towns of Al-Manara and Ain Al-Tineh in the Western Bekaa, to inspect the damage caused to the towns and neighborhoods as a result of the Israeli shelling that targeted them yesterday evening. The tour aimed to examine the extent of the destruction and stand with the affected residents.

Qabalan began his tour in the town of Al-Manara, where he met with the mayor and local figures in the town hall. Then he went to the site of the raid and inspected the massive damage caused by the attack, which affected citizens’ homes and property, in addition to the infrastructure.

In a statement from in front of the destroyed houses, Qabalan affirmed that the ongoing Israeli attacks reflect a permanent aggressive approach. He pointed out that the same house had been targeted earlier, which indicates the enemy’s insistence on deliberate targeting. He stressed that the people of this land will continue on their path despite the loss of life and the destruction of homes, believing in the cause, the right, defending the land, and supporting humanitarian and religious causes.

He added that the absence of any international or institutional deterrent has made talking about the “international community, the United Nations, and international covenants” pointless, in light of an enemy that practices killing and destruction in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria without accountability. He considered that the steadfastness of peoples and their adherence to their causes, despite the imbalance of power, confirms that “the battle of values and faith is what creates victory.”

After that, Qabalan moved to the town of Ain Al-Tineh, where he reviewed the extent of the damage that led to the destruction of a three-story residential building and the targeting of another house. He affirmed that the visit aims to stand by the people and draw strength from them, considering that the repeated attacks on villages and towns will not deter the people of this land from adhering to their cause and defending their rights.

He pointed out that the sacrifices and steadfastness of the people far exceed the performance of the state, criticizing the inability of official institutions, especially the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” to deliver the voice or submit complaints, warning that complacency with the aggression will lead to disastrous consequences that affect the entire country.

He concluded by affirming that this people, despite the few supporters, will remain committed to defending right and dignity, and that “Israel” will not succeed in breaking their will.
