Researchers specializing in astronomy and space have obtained the strongest and clearest evidence yet of the existence of life beyond Earth, but it seems that these beings have not been able to reach us, nor have we been able to communicate with them.

A report published by the specialized website “Science Alert” stated that a detailed survey conducted by a giant telescope showed these effects on the comet named “(3I/ATLAS)”, which had already amazed scientists earlier.

The “Breakthrough Listen” project used one of the world’s largest and most sensitive radio telescopes, the 100-meter Green Bank Telescope, to listen to the comet for several hours, approximately one day before it reached its closest point to Earth on December 19, 2025.

The team searched for artificial technological traces across a wide range of radio frequencies, and although many signals were detected, none were identified as originating from the comet, suggesting they may be signs of something else, perhaps extraterrestrial beings. Scientists confirm that these are the strongest indications yet of other life in this universe.

To ensure that the signals picked up by the telescope were coming from the comet, observations were switched between pointing the telescope at the comet and observing other areas of the sky in an expanding fractal pattern known as “(ABACAD)” order, with the direction changing every five minutes.

After excluding signals that appeared in other areas of the sky, researchers were left with nine potential radio signals. More precise observations revealed that these nine signals were emanating from technology, but they may just be radio frequency interference resulting from human technology on or near the Earth.

However, scientists stressed that this does not definitively negate the possibility that the comet contains alien technology, meaning there is a high probability that what was captured is evidence of extraterrestrial beings.

Amit Kshatriya, NASA’s Associate Administrator, said last November: “This object is a comet. It seems to be behaving like a comet, and all the evidence suggests that it is. But this particular comet came from outside the solar system, which makes it interesting, exciting, and of great scientific importance.”

He added: “So why do we look if we know we’re unlikely to find anything? Because searching is the essence of science. Even not finding something tells us something. In this case, not finding anything at least tells us that this comet is not a space beacon sent to broadcast a message at radio frequencies across the solar system.” (Al Arabiya)
