الصين تواصل استيراد الغاز الروسي بالرغم من العقوبات الغربية

Ship tracking data showed that China received a total of 22 shipments of liquefied natural gas last year from two Russian export projects sanctioned by the United States and the European Union.

According to data from Kepler and the London Stock Exchange Group, one of these shipments was from Portovaya, while the rest came from Arctic LNG 2.

It should be noted that the United States and the European Union have imposed sanctions on these two projects in order to reduce Russian energy revenues following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation each hold a 10% stake in Arctic LNG 2.

Since the beginning of the war with Ukraine in 2022, Russia has redirected its oil and gas exports to both India and China, after relations between Moscow and Europe, which previously represented its main market for exporting basic goods and an important source of its revenues, were severed.
