The media scene today lost colleague Asaad Elias El-Faghali, who spent many years serving the media, holding various positions in Lebanon and the Gulf countries.
The deceased worked at “Worldwide Television News WTN” between 1973 and 1996, and held the position of director of the “Emirates Television” office from 1996 until 2024. In addition, El-Faghali was a correspondent for “Lebanon Television,” where he covered important events such as the “Lebanese-Israeli War” and the “Iraqi-Iranian War” between 1975 and 1978.
The body of the deceased will arrive at “Our Lady of Light Church – Kahale” on Tuesday the 30th of this month, at eleven o’clock in the morning, and the funeral prayer will be held for his pure soul at three o’clock in the afternoon.
The family receives condolences before and after the burial, from eleven o’clock in the morning until six o’clock in the evening. Condolences will continue to be received on Wednesday, the 31st of this month, from twelve o’clock noon until five o’clock in the evening, in the hall of “Our Lady of Light Church – Kahale.”
