لبنان بحاجة إلى توازن</strong>... فياض: محادثات الناقورة تتجاوز "الميكانيزم"</p>

Deputy “Ali Fayyad,” a member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, explained during a speech he delivered in the city of Nabatieh commemorating the martyr “Hussein Yahya” from the town of Al-Taybeh, that any diplomatic or political endeavor aimed at restoring national rights lacks effectiveness unless it is based on factors of strength, steadfastness, and resilience. He stressed that the state needs a minimum level of balance that should not be compromised, because it represents the solid foundation for protecting sovereignty and safeguarding national interests.

“Fayyad” also believes that the criminal acts committed by the enemy, which have violated decisions, agreements, and international rules in Lebanon and throughout the region, reaffirm the legitimacy of the resistance and increase the need for it, as an exercise of the legitimate right to self-defense and the protection of rights in the absence of any alternatives that guarantee this. He warned that the proposed alternatives practically mean leaving Lebanon exposed to submission and surrender, awaiting disastrous consequences.

“Fayyad” addressed the ongoing negotiations in Naqoura, considering that they have now gone beyond the framework of the “Mechanism” committee tasked with supervising the ceasefire and the Israeli withdrawal in accordance with international resolution 1701. He pointed out that calls to move to the so-called “second phase” related to the north of the Litani River come at a time when the enemy still occupies border areas south of the river, obstructs the deployment of the Lebanese army, and continues attacks and assassinations, which practically means demanding that Lebanon adhere to Israeli conditions that go beyond Resolution 1701 unilaterally.

He stressed that this situation constitutes a grave negotiating and political danger, and does not provide any basis for balance with the enemy or the achievement of Lebanese goals, in addition to the complications and sensitivities it raises internally that threaten the unity of the Lebanese.

In conclusion, “Fayyad” affirmed that the interest of Lebanon requires strengthening internal unity and avoiding stirring up differences, because weakening the internal front serves the interests of the enemy, calling for unifying national efforts and positions to confront the occupation and achieve a complete Israeli withdrawal and all other national goals.
