Rumors have increased about Salah’s departure from Liverpool in the winter transfer window, after his public criticism of Dutch coach “Arne Slot” for keeping him on the bench in three consecutive Premier League matches.
The account “indykaila News,” which specializes in transfer news, stated that a Saudi club offered “Mohamed Salah” a salary equivalent to six times his current salary with Liverpool to join its ranks.
The account, which was the first to confirm Salah’s absence from Liverpool’s squad to face Inter Milan in the Champions League, clarified that the offer includes a weekly salary of £2.5 million, in addition to obtaining full image rights.
This salary exceeds six times what the Egyptian star earns with Liverpool, where he receives £400,000 per week, making him the highest-paid player in the history of the English club.
In contrast, Saudi press reports denied any intention by the major clubs in the Saudi League to sign “Mohamed Salah,” given his contract with Liverpool, which extends until the end of next season.
It is worth mentioning that “Salah’s” name has been linked to some Saudi League clubs in previous transfer periods, most notably Al-Ittihad, in addition to Al-Hilal, which is also mentioned as a possible destination for the player at the present time.
