"Loyalty to the Resistance" Launches Attack on "Media Platforms" and Strongly Criticizes the Authority: The Pace of Concessions is Accelerating!

The “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc believes in a statement that the Lebanese authorities have made a serious mistake by appointing a civilian to the “Mechanism” committee tasked with overseeing the ceasefire agreement. The bloc considers this measure to be in violation of previous official positions that stipulated a cessation of attacks in order to involve civilians. The bloc stressed that this unjustified concession will not put an end to the aggression, because Israel, with the support of the United States, continues to target Lebanese territory.

The bloc hinted that the opportunity is still available for the authority to remedy what it described as “accelerating concessions,” by taking a firm stance and obliging the enemy to implement the terms of the agreement first, especially in light of the thousands of violations that have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of civilians and the destruction of public and private property.

The bloc also criticized the increasing conciliatory rhetoric issued by some parties and figures towards the Israeli enemy, whether by justifying its attacks or by providing media platforms for its spokespersons, considering this a flagrant violation of Lebanese laws. It called on the concerned authorities, starting with the Ministry of Information and the National Council for Media and ending with the judiciary, to intervene immediately to stop this media chaos, which undermines the foundations of the national position and encourages the enemy to further escalate.

On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, the bloc affirmed that this occasion has lost its meaning in light of the “organized genocide crimes” committed by the Israeli entity in Gaza and the continuation of its aggression against Lebanon, with American and Western support and a suspiciously silent international community. It called on free peoples and active forces, especially in Western countries, in addition to legal and judicial bodies, to intensify their efforts to support the causes of right and justice.

The bloc expressed its appreciation for the efforts made by the Finance and Budget Committee to allocate credits for the reconstruction of the areas destroyed by the Israeli aggression, considering that this step, regardless of the size of the credits, is necessary to confirm the state’s responsibility for this file. It stressed the importance of making every effort to provide shelter and begin the reconstruction process for the residents of the border villages and those affected.

The bloc also stressed the importance of including in the 2026 budget draft clear measures to address public sector wages and correct the chaos and disparities in aid and productivity allowances, given its direct impact on the rights of employees, especially retirement pensions and end-of-service compensation.

The bloc called for accelerating the completion of the file of university professors’ full-time positions, in order to preserve the progress of academic work at the Lebanese University and protect the interests of the university, its professors, and its students, away from any narrow considerations.

In conclusion of its statement, the bloc strongly condemned what it described as the increasing “American bullying, piracy, and aggressive threats” against vulnerable countries around the world, warning of the repercussions of these policies on international peace and security.
