Prime Minister Salam expressed his gratitude for the strong return of the State of Qatar to support development and prosperity in Lebanon, stressing that this support comes at a crucial time, as Lebanon begins to implement a long-term plan for reconstruction, reform and recovery, in line with the economic vision that the government is working on.
For their part, the members of the delegation expressed interest in investing in key sectors such as transport and energy, and for this purpose, meetings have been scheduled with the Ministers of: “Public Works and Transport”, “Energy and Water”, and “Economy”.
Ambassador Al Thani also affirmed that another delegation from the “Qatar Fund for Development” will visit Lebanon at the beginning of December 2025, with the aim of completing discussions on the possibility of financing priority projects within the “Public Investment Program of Lebanon”.
