نتنياهو: سنتخذ جميع الإجراءات الضرورية لصدّ "حزب الله" ومنعه من معاودة تهديد إسرائيل

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today, Sunday, that the Israeli army carried out a military operation in Lebanese territory over the weekend, and affirmed that Israel will take “all necessary measures to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its capabilities against us.”

Netanyahu clarified that Israel “responded to Hamas’ attempts,” pointing out that the army “paid a heavy price” and that it “killed a large number of militants and arrested others from the Rafah tunnels.”

Netanyahu reiterated his affirmation that Israel “will continue to do what is necessary to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its capabilities.”

Netanyahu also pointed out that the Hamas movement “does not stop violating the ceasefire in Gaza,” and that the army “is acting accordingly.” He added that Hamas “tried several times to infiltrate our controlled areas outside the Yellow Line and attack our soldiers.”

Netanyahu stressed that “Israel is responsible for its security,” and that “decisions to thwart attacks are taken by the army,” stressing that Israel “decides without waiting for the approval of any party.”
